Damián Peralta

Born and raised at the foot of the Andes in Mendoza, Damián Peralta is a certified Mountain & Trekking Guide (EPGAMT - Mat. 261) with over 20 years of uninterrupted experience leading high-altitude expeditions, managing wilderness risk, and navigating remote mountain territories. He is also a visual artist and documentary photographer whose work explores the deep connection between landscape, identity, and inner states.

For Damián, nature is not just a backdrop, but a living space for reflection and transformation. Shaped by extensive travel across Latin America and a lifelong commitment to mindfulness, meditation, and environmental awareness, he approaches mountain guiding and creative expression as unified practices.

In 2019, he founded Andes Inspiration to offer a meaningful alternative to mass tourism. Combining his deep technical expertise in mountain safety and wilderness interpretation with his passion for art and presence, Damián creates curated, small-group experiences designed to help travelers step away from digital noise, reconnect with their senses, and engage with the majestic landscapes of Mendoza at a human pace.
